Diamondback was founded in San Francisco, California in 1993 by the late Master Carpenter Jim Skelton. After hurting his back on the job, Jim was eager to get back to work but he was unable to use his old gear due to the pain it caused him. With the guidance of a chiropractor, Jim set out to design the world's best tool belt. Skelton's desire to research and use new techniques has inspired Diamondback's current expansion into personal storage, workwear, and safety gear.
